Why does ART OF SCALE charge in US dollars?
ART OF SCALE is a proudly South African business with its roots in South Africa. ART OF SCALE’s product offering is globally relevant, and ART OF SCALE has customers inside and outside South Africa. For these reasons, we charge in USD.
Is VAT or sales tax included?
Relevant local tax is charged at the time of payment. If your company is registered in South Africa and/or you are based in South Africa when you take out the subscription local South African tax (15% VAT) will be applied.
How will clients be billed?
ART OF SCALE’s customers are billed automatically through a secure online payment gateway. South African customers, will be billed an amount in South African Rands that is equal to the USD price based on the foreign exchange rate applicable at the time of billing. This means that the actual amount they pay will vary (up or down) based on fluctuations in the exchange.
Are there any hidden costs?
No. Many other companies require you to have an implementer or coach to help set you up and get full value from the platform. This cost can run as high as $15,000/year. We are a self-service platform that you can access for less than 10% of the price.
Does ART OF SCALE process personal data?
Yes. ART OF SCALE does process personal information to deliver its products and services and for other purposes as outlined in our applicable Privacy Notice. How secure is ART OF SCALE?
Based in South Africa, development is kept in-house, ensuring we commit to the highest data security standards. We always use SHA-256 with RSA encryption. ART OF SCALE uses reasonable organizational, technical & administrative measures to protect personal information under its control. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet or data storage system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. If any client has reason to believe that their interaction with ART OF SCALE is not secure, they can immediately notify ART OF SCALE of the problem by contacting us at support@artofscale.io. ART OF SCALE’s data security policies, procedures and protocols have been tested and accepted by FNB.
Why can I only have 10 users on the platform?
ART OF SCALE is designed and developed for the senior leadership team of a scaling business. The typical size of these teams is more than 3 and less than 10 members. Development is underway to increase the number of team members you can add.
Can more than one team use the platform under a single license?
ART OF SCALE is best suited for the senior leadership team of a scaling business. Some of the platform features are suitable for departmental teams (eg Sales, Operations) and further development to enable this is being considered.
