CEO and Co-Founder

As the co-founder and CEO, Jason brings a wealth of experience and deep empathy to the table. With decades of hands-on leadership and elite business coaching under his belt, he’s guided hundreds of entrepreneurs through their toughest challenges.

Jason intimately understands the daily struggles of growing a business: the obstacles, the fears, and the never-ending doubts. His firsthand appreciation for the entrepreneurial journey fuels his passion for helping leaders unlock the full potential of themselves, their team, and their businesses.

With an impressive career spanning major players across industries, including Norton Rose Fulbright, Accenture, and Dimension Data, Jason brings rich expertise and battle-tested strategies to the Art of ScaleTM

Jason Goldberg

Co-Founder

Jason is a co-founder of four successful businesses Edge Growth, Vumela Fund, 10X Entrepreneur and Art of ScaleTM. He has been scaling and helping other founders scale for nearly 20 years. 

Qualified as an Electrical Engineer, he started his career as a strategy consultant at Bain & Co. where he helped an African SME fund implement a method to scale portfolio companies. 

Seeing the impact, he started Edge Growth in 2007 to tackle poverty by creating livelihoods by scaling companies. Since 2007 Edge Growth has partnered with multinationals to fund and support growing companies, and Jason has been  ‘the startup guy’.

He launched Edge Growth’s Ventures arm (c.$120m capital under management, c.140 investments to date), then built 10X Entrepreneur to help high-growth African founders Scale Up.  

Jason is passionate, skilled and experienced at helping developing market company’s scale.
